Drew Gentry is an accomplished Creative Operations Director with over 20 years of experience in branding, marketing, and creative design. He has held senior leadership positions in various industries, including automotive, legal, communications, and tech—being renowned for his ability to motivate and develop great creative talent.

Currently, Drew leads the creative team at WorkForce Software, where he is responsible for brand development, employee development, project management, and strategic planning. He also contributes to overseeing the Tier I customer funnel and oversees vendor negotiations, while still finding time to create marketing materials ranging from print to custom interactive websites. Drew is passionate about elevating brands and inspiring those around him, and he is always willing to roll up his sleeves and work alongside his team to deliver better results.

Before joining WorkForce Software, Drew served as Head of Global Creative Services and Senior Level Graphic Designer at Tenneco, where he created branding and marketing materials for all corporate and sub-brands on a global scale. His contributions to branding and interactive business media were recognized with a prestigious Corporate Leadership Award for Communications in 2019, and two Global TEN10 nominations in 2021.

Prior to Tenneco, Drew held various roles at Federal-Mogul, where he was able to increase in-house production by an impressive 3,600%. He also served as Art Director for Force Media Group/Marketing in Atlanta, where he led the agency from Tier III to Tier II client status and developed a process to reduce creative production time (50%+) and costs (35%+). Furthermore in 2005 for broadcasting giant Cumulus Media, he pioneered a real-time creative proofing network while serving as Director of Graphic Design.

Drew began his career at Paxton Media’s Carrollton Times-Georgian newspaper as a Graphic Artist before seizing an opportunity for advancement. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University, where he graduated with honors.

Outside of work, Drew is a dedicated mentor and humanitarian. He is passionate about preparing under-served youth and future creatives to be self-reliant and successful through mentoring, and he has been twice nominated as Mentor of the Year at his post for Winning Futures Mentoring Program. He also serves as an Alumni Mentor for the College of Arts and Sciences of Indiana State University. Drew’s leadership qualities, passion for the craft, and track record of elevating performance make him a valuable asset to any organization.
